2014 Wood Horse and Horse Shoes

How do I to get good luck and opportunities in 2014? This is what most of my clients are asking me right now. Good news! We have a wonderful combination coming up - Wood and Horse.

There are actually five types of Horses, one for each of the five elements. There's the Earth Horse - hardworking and steady. And the Water Horse - creative and unpredictable. There's the Metal Horse - ambitious and methodical. Also the Fire Horse - wild and adventurous.

This time in Chinese Astrology 2014, we have the Wood Horse. The Wood Horse is the happiest, most social, most open Horse of all. This year we can ride this Horse to success and happiness. 2014 Year of the Wood Horse

In just over a month we will enter the Year of the Wood Horse. Horse years are quite different than Snake years, the year we're experiencing now. While Snakes are quiet and thoughtful, Horses take action and run free. Snakes keep secrets and have agendas. Horses are straightforward and put everything on the table. During the next 30 days you and everyone else will feel this transition from Snake energy to Horse. And if you're one of the signs in harmony with this upcoming energy you are going to feel a lot better.

Cathy was born Mar 15, 1954 making her a Wood Horse and a Pisces. She's been keeping a very close eye on the calendar, waiting for the energy of the year to change. Now that it's nearly here she wants to know what she can expect in 2014.

Cathy has some really good financial opportunities coming up. There's one related to her job. This could mean an offer to take early retirement which for Cathy would be fine as she wants to pursue her own business in Mary Kay Cosmetics. She also shows that it would benefit her to take some classes on investing. She would learn how to handle her money better and her chart shows she could meet a potential love through some educational endeavor.

Where Cathy needs to be cautious this year is her health. She hasn't been exercising like she should be. Horses need to move around and occasionally feel the wind in their hair. Even some daily light exercise will bring really positive benefits. I suggest Cathy try gardening and specifically to plant herbs. There are many herbs that are protective in nature, plants like rosemary or basil. Plants like these can energetically protect her property and when eaten, help protect her physically.

Carrie emailed me and said, “I think I'm a Horse (6-6-1990). What can I do in 2013 to get a great job?”

Hi Carrie, you're a Horse/Gemini. I sense a lot of movement around you this year. I sense a job opportunity coming this summer. I suggest you sprinkle sea salt on your porch to clear away the negativity of the last year. Then dissolve some more sea salt in warm water and spritz it around the house (avoid spraying delicate fabrics) to clear the energy inside. Then burn a metallic gold candle to attract prosperity energy and more money.

Steve wrote to me and said, “what is in store for me in2013. My birth date in 02/14/1966”

Hey Steve, you're a Horse/Aquarius and your big year will be next year. In the meantime I sense that you have a strong ability to manifest what you want but sometimes you can't decide. This sends mixed signals to the Universe and brings poor results. I suggest you place a vase by your front door. Then start to gather things that represent what you might want. You might put in the name of the company you want to work for, or a heart for love, or a bank deposit slip with a million dollars written on it, or some coins from a foreign country to represent travel. If you can't find an object to represent what you want then write it on a piece of paper and put it in the bowl. As the bowl fills watch for people who come and offer you help getting what you want. Start this right away. You have several opportunities around you already.

A Capricorn, Born in Year of the Horse

One of my readers in California has a question: I was born in January 1979 and I'm planning a move this year, 2013. I also need a job when I get there. What do you see for me?

You're a Horse/Capricorn, that's a really grounded and practical combination, think draft horse rather than quarter horse, someone who sticks with it until the job is done. While you're big year will be 2014 there are still lots of opportunities for you this year. Yes, I do sense you will move and there is a couple of good job possibilities there. I suggest you write what kind of job you would like. Place it in a bowl and fill the bowl with coins. You can keep the bowl on your dresser or nightstand. After you get the job make sure you take the coins and take 10% to give to charity and the rest put in your savings account as seed money for future wealth. Do this and you will find you have a really prosperous 2013/2014.

Congratulations on thinking so far ahead. 

January 31^st 2014 will mark the year of the Wood Horse. This will be a year of great energy and power for those who can grab hold and hang on.
